The Lions Club of Chennai Skyline successfully organized a comprehensive community health camp at Masjid-e-Mohammed Yakub, benefiting men, women and children across all age groups from the surrounding community.

The camp witnessed an encouraging response, with a dedicated panel of medical professionals including General Physicians, Dental Specialist – Dr. Imran and Ophthalmologists attending to the healthcare needs of the public. The initiative aimed at promoting preventive healthcare awareness and ensuring access to essential medical screening services.

A range of free health check-ups and diagnostic services were offered during the camp, including Blood Pressure monitoring, Blood Sugar testing, ECG (on doctor’s recommendation), Bone Mineral Density testing and comprehensive Eye Testing. Cataract detection and preliminary eye assessments were also carried out in coordination with SIMS Hospital, Vadaplani, Udhi Eye Hospital, Alwarpet and Blue Dental, Anna Nagar East.

The project stands as a reflection of the club’s continued commitment towards community welfare and public health outreach.

Special appreciation was extended to the Project Chairpersons, Lion Katheeja Syed Ahamed and Lion Zarina Rahim, along with Project Co-ordinator Lion Ayub Bakshi, for their exemplary planning, coordination and successful execution of this impactful service initiative.
