Wheels of Fortune – a District Governor Thrust Area service activities initiative *an initiative to empower the deserving & vulnerable people with pre-fabricated modern modular type food cart / shop on wheels*.
Our Club Lions Club of Chennai Skyline along Lions Clubs International District 324 A1 grant provided the food card to Mrs. K. Farzana of Pulianthope. With the cart, the beneficiary now will be an entrepreneur on her own and sell hot dry snacks and food items which will help her to start a decent living.
District Governor PMJF Lion P.V. Prakash Kumar handed over the cart to Mrs. K. Farzana in presence of Past International Director – PMJF Lion N. S. Shankar, First Vice District Governor – PMJF Lion S V Manickam, Cabinet Secretary – Lion Rajesh Joshi, District Chairperson – Wheels of Fortune Lion Vardharajan, District Chairperson – Service Activities – Lion Baskar, Zone Chairperson – PMJF Lion Prasad Hari Parulekar, President – MJF Lion Ghouse Babu, Secretary – Lion Syed Fazlullah and member – Lion Muneer Khan.
President Lion Ghouse Babu also handed over a Tea Flask to the beneficiary.
President thanked the District Governor for the grant and also the generous donors from the club in supporting this project.
