Together, we are rising to the challenge of fighting the effects of the Coronavirus. Lion members are responding to the impact of the global COVID-19 crisis by providing comfort and hope to those feeling the effects of isolation and fear.
Today, our club co-sponsored a Mega project (A 3 days project focused across 4 different locations in ICE HOUSE Area targeting 1,200 families – distribution of 5,000 Masks, 50,000 Vitamin C tablets, Kabasur Kudineer for 15,000 people). This project is co-ordinated thru Chennai Police, Corporation Officials, Health Department Officials and Lion Ashok Kumar Sabat.
Our contribution to the project is Rs.4,000/- benefiting 1,000 people.
Our Club member Lion Mohammed Saleem volunteered and sponsored our Club contribution towards this project. We extend our deep appreciation to Lion Mohammed Saleem for generosity.
Our President and 1st Vice President participated in the project.
