There are many families who are struggling to survive. Basic needs, particularly food is an everyday problem and family members, including children, are malnourished.
Our club, today distributed Provision Kits to 80 disadvantaged and needy families residing in the slum of M.S. Muthu Nagar, Kannigapuram, Pulianthope, Chennai. Each of the 80 Kits comprised of Rice, Dal, Oil, Turmeric Powder, Wheat Flour and Salt were distributed.
It was such a joy to be part of something so incredibly gripping. The smiles of the poor people after receiving the food kit inspire the donors and the volunteers to do a similar activity over and over again.
