Every one of us, at some time in our life, feels like contributing towards the betterment of the society. Our PDG is passionate in his dedication to the cause of feeding underprivileged children.
On the occasion of his wedding anniversary, we organized a free Mid-Day meal programme to around 80 beneficiaries (70 students, teaching and non-teaching staff) at Pananthope Railway Colony Primary School*, #293A/B, 8th Street, Pananthope Railway Colony Ayanavaram ,Chennai_23.
Our focus on Food should be served in an organized, dignified, equitable, friendly manner. Towards, this we ensured a curated menu with high-quality hot meals distributed to the children.
Every second was so memorable, the wishes from the teachers, visiting lions of other clubs to the couple on their wedding anniversary, little surprises in the form of chocolates to the children, the reluctant yet a terrific speech by Lion Katheeja Syed Ahamed, every moment was full of energy, happiness, smiles and excitement.
The entire cost of the activities was sponsored by PDG, PMJF Lion L.K.S. Syed Ahamed.
On this occasion, we also carried out a tree sapling planting activity and planted 10 saplings at the school premises.
It truly was a memorable wedding anniversary with underprivileged kids.
With the deep love for social service, we salute the spirit of donors, who are inspiring to meet the community service needs in every way they can.
