To mark World Humanitarian Day, held every year on 19 August by the United Nations, our club organized “Reach the Hungry” a District Governor Thrust Area initiative of feeding the hungry.
Our club carried out Service Activities across 4 different locations and distributed prepared meal to over 1,000 needy people.Service Activities Locations :
(1) Institute of Child Health and Hospital, Egmore, Chennai- 8
(2) Sri Matha Trust, No 9, Yogi garden, SriRam Nagar, Adjacent to IIT campus, Pallipattu Main Road, Chennai – 113.
(3) Dadashamakan : No.20/8.Natcharammal Street, Pulianthope, (near Sait Beedi mosque), Chennai – 12
(4) Pulianthope : New Farrance Road, Pulianthope, Chennai – 12
