In a remarkable display of community service and compassion, the Lions Club of Chennai Skyline, in association with The New College, Youth Red Cross and Government Royapettah Hospital, Chennai, successfully organized a Blood Donation Camp that resulted in the collection of 148 units of blood — a powerful contribution toward saving countless lives.
The camp was honoured by the esteemed presence of Mr. Elias Sait, Secretary, MEASI whose support underscored the importance of public health initiatives in our society.
The event saw the enthusiastic participation of key members of the Lions Club of Chennai Skyline, including: President Lion Seema Parulekar, Secretary Lion Ghazalah Tarannum, Treasurer Lion Farida Sultana, Region Chairperson Lion Ramesh alongside several dedicated club members who worked tirelessly to ensure the camp’s success.
A special mention goes to the students of The New College, whose energy and enthusiasm were truly commendable. Their eager willingness to donate blood, support the organizers, and spread awareness about the importance of donation added immense value to the camp. Their active participation not only boosted the unit count but also reflected a strong sense of social responsibility among the youth.
