Our club organized a Blood Donation Camp and Mega Health Check Up camp today in association with Mohamed Sathak College of Arts & Science, Sholinganallur, Chennai, Egmore Lions Blood Bank, Fortis Malar Hospital, Sight First Foundation and Clove Dental,
Over 145 willing donors volunteered for the Blood Donation Camp, after screening only 98 donors were found to be eligible for blood donation.
A team of competent doctors of different specializations and ophthalmologists conducted the Health Check Up and Eye Screening camp for the visitors, teaching and non-teaching staff of the college. Dental Check up, Blood Pressure, Blood Sugar Testing, ECG ( on doctor’s recommendation) and Eye Testing were done. The camp provided benefits to 87 individuals in all.
Our Club complimented the selfless service of the young students and their love and concern towards society as blood donors and handed the certificate of appreciation to the donors.
We sincerely appreciate and thank Lion Khalid Mohammed for coordinating with the college management and securing an opportunity to conduct the camps. Lion Khalid Mohammed put out extraordinary efforts that made the camp possible.
