On the occasion of World Diabetes Day, a diabetes screening and awareness camp were organized on 10th November, 2019 from 9 am to 2.00 pm at Dooming Kuppam, Iruthayapuram, Loop Road, Santhome, Chennai.
Over 180 locals took benefit of this camp and got their check-up done. The camp covered awareness on Diabetes, General Health check-up, Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar test and free medicine distribution.
All the 180 patients given specialist medical advice and 161 patients were checked for the Blood Sugar Test.
The Projects was appreciated well as it was made to cater to less privileged and significantly benefited senior citizens of the area.
