BEGIN WITH THE END IN MIND

1st July is Lions Clubs International New year when the Lions Presidents all over the world take charge. 

Club President Lion Md. Shadaan and his team envisaged a gamut of service activities to carry out on the first day of the Lionistic year 2021-2022.  The focus was to cover projects under the District Governor’s 7 Thrust Areas and the Club carried out 12 service activities.

Service Activities carried out :

(1) CAN WIN CANCER – Donation of Chemoport to the Institute of Child Health and Hospital for Children (formerly Govt. Children’s Hospital), Egmore, Chennai costing Rs.25,000/-.

(2) CAN WIN CANCER – Distribution of Protein Health Drink to 70 children at the Institute of Child Health and Hospital for Children (formerly Govt. Children’s Hospital), Egmore, Chennai costing Rs.4,000/-

(3) REACH THE HUNGRY – Distribution of Fruits Baskets to 70 caretakers at the Institute of Child Health and Hospital for Children (formerly Govt. Children’s Hospital), Egmore, Chennai costing Rs.10,000/-

(4) EVERGREEN EARTH – Distribution of Kitchen garden kits to the Cubs.

(5) HEALTH IS WEALTH – Donation of Oxygen Concentrator to Lions Clubs International District 324-M costing Rs.35,000/-

(6) EDUCATE TO ELEVATE – Donation of 10 smart mobile phones to underprivileged children of Iqra School in need of the devices to attend online classes, costing Rs.60,000/-

(7) ANTI-SMOKING AWARENESS – Distribution of 1,000 awareness stickers.

(8) VISION CARE – Eye Screening Camp @ Vichoor Village

(9) PREVENT DIABETES – Diabetes detection and awareness camp @ Vichoor Village.

(10) HEALTH IS WEALTH – General Health Check Up camp @ Vichoor Village

(11) EVERGREEN EARTH –             20 Nos. of Tree Sapling Planting @ Vichoor Village

(12) REACH THE HUNGRY – Distribution of Lunch Meal to 200 underprivileged people @ Vichoor Village.
