As intense heat waves have swept the city in the last few days, the warnings for one of the hottest summers continue even now, leaving many worried. With temperatures only expected to rise, street vendors, daily wagers, homeless people and many others are struggling to survive the scorching heat.
Today our Club donated “Lions Clubs International” branded Umbrella to two roadside vendors.
The club mitigates the difficulties of people like street vendors who are deprived of a roof above their heads while conducting their businesses through sunshine or rain. Umbrellas will help protect these street vendors and daily wagers among others from the sun and also can help avoid sunstrokes.
