A routine visit to our adopted School – Govt. Hobart Higher Secondary School, Whites Road, Royapettah, Chennai – brought in requests from the Teachers to provide School Uniforms to the Primary School students in the school.
Where there is a need there is a Lion – Our Club gifted children with school uniforms with the noble vision that children must feel proud to go to school and feel proud to wear the uniforms like children of any other social status or any other private school.
Total of 52 School Uniforms distributed to students from Class 1 Std. to Class 5th Std.
It surely radiated enthusiasm when these children excitedly and warmly smiled in happiness.
Helping others leads to higher levels of happiness, this was palpable and evidently visible on all the donors present. The project was sponsored by MJF Lion Niamathullaah Khan, Lion Arif Ismail, Lion Arif Nawaz, Lion Mohammed Salman.
