Recognition is a behaviour deeply rooted in Lionism, it is also a tradition that every year our organization recognizes and honours outstanding teachers who put their heart into work to help students succeed and be their best not just academically, but in all areas of Life. We are always looking for ways to celebrate those who make a difference in young peoples’ lives every day.
Our Club has celebrated “Teachers Day” function at our adopted School – Chennai Primary School, Giriappa Road, Theagaraya Nagar, Chennai. The Lady Lions and Lion Ladies of the club led by First Lady, Lion Seema Parulekar organized the event and interacted with the teachers and students. The Club honoured all teachers from the school and were felicitated with appreciation. All the teaching and non-teaching staff of the school were gifted with Sarees and Mementos.
